Buck Creek Girls - clawhammer banjo tune (experimental extended version!)

Buck Creek Girls! This is another song I learned at banjo camp. I went for a slightly different format for this video: instead of deciding which variations I wanted to play and slotting them in to a shorter tune time, I just looped the song for a long time and played with all the variations I'd learned, and then started making up some on the spot. It's very disorganized and not the cleanest playing, but it was really fun to sit with the same tune for a while and see what I could come up with. Let me know if you want more extended versions of songs, or if you prefer the shorter, more concise takes! I personally think these extended takes make really nice background music to listen to while relaxing or doing simple tasks. I wouldn't want to do them all the time though, because it takes a lot of energy for me to play straight through with no stops for this long!
