NORTH BENGAL TRIP PART 2, EPISODE 1/ TINGLING VIEW POINT/ MIRIK LAKE/ LEPCHA JAGAT/GHOOM/ DARJEELING

After completing our breakfast at Mainak Tourism Property we started our journey towards Darjeeling at around 9:00 AM. We left the Hillcart road & reached Darjeeling via Rishi road at around 2:00 PM. We passed through many major tourist spots throughout our journey some of which are Tingling View Point, Mirik Lake, Gopaldhara Tea Estate, Pashupati Fatak, Simana View Point and Lepcha Jagat. We passed through frequent hairpin bends, beautiful tea gardens, pine forests sorrounded by terrible fog, dark clouds and heavy shower in between. It was a 93 Kms fun-filled journey with lots of excitement. We stayed at Meghbalika Tourism Property which comes under the Govt. of West Bengal Tourism located at a 5 minutes walking distance from the Darjeeling Mall. This is the second day of our North Bengal Trip and first day at Darjeeling.
