Forklift Separator FL300 for Pallet Flow Rack | Mallard Manufacturing

Описание к видео Forklift Separator FL300 for Pallet Flow Rack | Mallard Manufacturing

Improve forklift safety when accessing deep-lane, multi-level pallet flow systems. Forklift separators isolated the first-position pallet at the pick aisle from the rear pallets --this small break between the first and second-position pallets removes the back pressure from the rear pallets in the pitched lane. Without any back pressure, the pallet at the pick aisle is easier and safer to remove from the lane.

Here are some more details about Back Pressure in pallet flow rack: Back pressure is the combined weight of the rear pallets that transfers to the front pallet. When left uncontrolled, back pressure can injure workers and damage inventory and equipment. Back pressure calculations: .06 x single pallet load weight, divided by the number of pallets in the lane excluding the first pallet.

E.g. .06 x 1200 x 5 = 360 lbs. of extra weight pressing down on the front pallet.

In a deep-lane configuration, that amount can multiply into the thousands!
Choose FL 300 for GMA, CHEP & pallets with cross-boards
Choose FL 301 for plastic pallets.
Other Design Considerations:
--For use with pallet depths of 32” – 48”
--All pallets must be the same depth
-Requires 12” separation between 1st & 2nd pallets
--Installed beside the center rail of a wheeled 3-rail system
