Weird Glenwood Cemetery Creek Find 2024-08-07 - This morning ride journal takes me to one of my favorite local chill places: McPhee Creek juncture at the back of Glenwood Cemetery. The usual things left behind down there are empty liquor bottles and other trash. As I was sitting down for a breather, I noticed something odd reflecting 8-10 feet away in the brush, and decide to investigate. Turns out to be a disturbingly decorated audio collection by some geezers calling themselves "Hunting Lodge" and a booklet of collages by an apparent poor tortured soul named T.M. Caldwell. I'm an eccentric who carries a box-cutter with me everywhere, so I decide to open the shrink wrap ... and discover a 3-disc vinyl LP set. I wonder out loud whether I should turn this in to local police, or what - as it's pretty strange thing found in an unusual location. I suddenly hear noises up from where I parked my bike and worry that somebody is messing with it, so climb up the bank without actually resting, as intended.
