La capilla dedicada al culto de nuestra Señora de aránzazu, es en la actualidad el único recinto de la ciudad que conserva sus retablos barrocos dorados, son tres y se distinguen por su elevada calidad artística. Una familia de ascendencia vasca, los Basauri, patrocinó la construcción; ello explica el protagonismo de la Virgen de aránzazu y de otras imágenes religiosas originarias de la región vascongada. Este templo del Centro Histórico de Guadalajara fue construido entre 1749 y 1752 como parte del gran conjunto integrado por el convento de San Francisco y cinco capillas anexas.
El Templo de San Francisco de Asís es un edificio católico de la ciudad de Guadalajara, ubicada en el centro del estado de Jalisco, México. Su construcción inició en 1668 y finalizó en 1692, mandado a construir con un estilo barroco novohispano por el fray Antonio de Avellaneda. El convento de la Orden Franciscana ha existido desde la primera década en que se hizo la cuarta fundación de Guadalajara en el Valle de Atemajac en 1542, Posteriormente se cambió a Analco en 1542 antes de mudarse a su ubicación definitiva en 1554.
Plaza Luis Barragán
La Plaza Luis Barragán en Guadalajara es un espacio público ubicado en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad. Inaugurada con una superficie de 5,700 metros cuadrados, esta plaza representa un proyecto destinado a transformar y revitalizar el entorno urbano. La Plaza Luis Barragán, inaugurada el 14 de marzo, se erige como una significativa adición al Paseo Alcalde en el municipio de Guadalajara. Esta infraestructura, parte integral de las obras de expansión de dicho corredor en la Perla Tapatía.

The chapel dedicated to the worship of Our Lady of Aránzazu is currently the only place in the city that conserves its gilded Baroque altarpieces, of which there are three and they are distinguished by their high artistic quality. A family of Basque descent, the Basauri family, sponsored the construction; this explains the prominence of the Virgin of Aránzazu and other religious images originating from the Basque region. This temple in the Historic Centre of Guadalajara was built between 1749 and 1752 as part of the large complex made up of the convent of San Francisco and five adjoining chapels.
The Temple of San Francisco de Asis is a Catholic building in the city of Guadalajara, located in the centre of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Its construction began in 1668 and finished in 1692, ordered to be built in a novo-Hispanic baroque style by Fray Antonio de Avellaneda. The convent of the Franciscan Order has existed since the first decade of the fourth foundation of Guadalajara in the Atemajac Valley in 1542. It was later moved to Analco in 1542 before moving to its final location in 1554.
Luis Barragan Square
The Plaza Luis Barragan in Guadalajara is a public space located in the Historic Centre of the city. Inaugurated with a surface area of 5,700 square metres, this plaza represents a project aimed at transforming and revitalising the urban environment. The Plaza Luis Barragán, inaugurated on March 14th, stands as a significant addition to the Paseo Alcalde in the municipality of Guadalajara. This infrastructure, an integral part of the expansion works of this corridor in the Perla Tapatía.
