KnitPicks Stroll Roving http://shrsl.com/1e8ng (Affiliate Link) is 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon. I dyed 200 g in this video.

VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction to the fiber and the plan for this dyeing project
[2:00] Presoaking the roving in plain tap water for at least 30 min
[2:44] The dyebath: 16 cups water + 4 T white vinegar
The dyes: Dharma Peacock blue. 1/4 cup of crashed out 1% stock solution (and rinse out the stock jar)
Jacquard Pink (1% stock solution) - 1 cup
[5:43] Dip Dyeing the roving. I held both strands of roving together so the 2 - 100 g pieces of roving would have similar gradients
[10:37] Washing the roving
[12:02] The finished dry roving and conclusions
