In this video I share my first impressions of Karimunjawa Island in Central Java, Indonesia. This island is a paradise and maybe the most famous island in Jawa. Mostly locals visit that place, and especially during the rainy season there are not many foreigners.

So far there are flights only from Semarang. But In April 2023 there will be flights from Jakarta to Karimunjawa as well. That's a big opportunity to boost the tourism on that island. You can also take the big ferry or speedboat. Don't hesitate to ask in the comment section if you have questions about transportation or a hotel in Karimunjawa.

How can I get to Karimunjawa Island:
(1) Ferry Jepara - Karimunjawa (you can bring car or motorbike, 5 hours ride, price: $6)
(2) Speedboat Jepara - Karimunjawa (passengers only, 2 hours ride, price: $17)
(3) Ferry Semarang - Karimunjawa (maybe 10 hours)
(4) Flight Semarang - Karimunjawa
(5) Flight Jakarta - Karimunjawa
