Why doesn't common sense make sense?

We like to think of ourselves as rational, logical beings. However, can we really say that our thoughts and decisions are rational? And to what extent cognitive biases take control of our minds?

In this lecture, we will look at the conditioning of the human mind in the context of decision-making. Do we decide differently when we’re upset? And why do we keep putting effort into something, even though it doesn’t bring us positive outcomes?

Finally, we will answer the most important question: how we can make more economically sound decisions in our daily work, while dealing with the irrational traps of our minds.
