However, the reality is quite the opposite; it is they who struggle to exist without your presence. This dynamic creates an unhealthy dependency.

Throughout the relationship, many narcissists experience what is known as the "grass is greener" syndrome. They constantly find themselves in competition, comparing you to others—whether that be friends’ relationships, portrayals on television, or images seen on social media. This relentless comparison prevents them from appreciating you for who you truly are.

It is essential to understand that there is nothing wrong with you. You are supportive, loving, loyal, kind, and empathetic. Unfortunately, these qualities are often overlooked by the narcissist, who remains ungrateful and unappreciative. Instead of valuing your efforts, they absorb your love and support as a form of supply, feeding their inflated ego.
