This is a play-through using Dark Talbain in the PS1 version of Darkstalkers 3. Read on below for more information...

Dark Jon Talbain is a special boss character for regular Jon Tailbain. He is a hidden playable character.

===== About Dark Talbain / Gallon =====
Dark Talbain is basically the cursed side of regular Jon Talbain. Because no matter what, there's always room for an evil version of a character.

===== Additional Information =====

---- As mentioned earlier, Dark Talbain has a glowing/flashing colour palette.

---- Unlike the other characters, Dark Talbain only has 2 colour palettes.

---- He appears as the boss for regular Jon Talbain in Arcade mode.

---- In Vampire Savior mode, his final boss in Arcade mode is regular Talbain.

---- In Vampire Savior 2 mode, his final boss in Arcade mode is Jedah.

---- In his Dragon Cannon move, Dark Talbain uses the old dragon sprites from Darkstalker's Revenge. Regular Talbain's dragon sprites is instead the more twisty one.

---- His pre-fight intro is different to regular Talbain's.

---- He does not have the human transformation winning pose which regular Talbain has.

---- He has a unique winning screen music theme which is different to regular Talbain's.

---- When you complete the game with him, you get regular Talbain's ending. You don't see this in my video because I played the game in Vampire Savior 2 mode.

---- He is known as Dark Gallon in the Japanese version of the game.

---- The game is known as Vampire Savior EX Edition in Japan.

===== About PS1 Darkstalkers 3 =====
Due to the PS1's hardware limitations, a LOT of character animation frames had to be cut... if you're used to the Arcade/Saturn versions of the game, you'll definitely notice it. The game features all the characters from the Darkstalkers series. So yes, Phobos, Pyron and Donovan are in.

However despite the animation cuts, the PS1 version of Darkstalkers 3 is actually quite special, as it is basically a 'collection' of Vampire Savior, Vampire Savior 2 and Vampire Hunter 2 all rolled into one single game. If you unlock the Ex Options, you can get to select the system mode of the above three games... so for example if you select Vampire Hunter 2, you'll get the VH2 BGMS, endings and system (such as Pyron replacing Jedah as the game's main boss). It's good stuff and it's a good port of the arcade game.
