A review of the Master Grade RGM-79 GM version 2.0 from the original anime series Mobile Suit Gundam (MSG 0079).

This is review number 30. Kind of a big mile stone I think. I didn't think I'd do more than 2-3 of these, but they've been fun little editing exercises.

Anyway, -- Production Notes for My Future Self to Look Over! --

This review had a ton going on...

- First off, everything was broken up because of these re-uploads. It was a whole copyright situation with the music, that had me re-uploading a bunch of older reviews, but with newer music. You can still hear the old music on older videos I never got around to updating. Anyway, while I swapped the music out, I decided to also re-edit much of those older videos, just because I had the opportunity. I did 6-7 re-uploads before I started on this.

- I took quite a few gaps in getting this footage because I had a photography gig and classes starting up. I made a dedicated section of my room for these reviews though, so it wasn’t too hard to jump back into it.

- Still learning this new Canon 6D MkII. I realized I could set the color temp to an exact number, so no more white balancing (!!!)

- The big one was the realization that I’m using the lowest bitrate tier for video recording on this camera. Unfortunately, I didn’t find out until after I shot all this footage. Thankfully this low tier bitrate is about the same as my previous camera (100D) at it’s highest bitrate tier. So yeah, kinda got lucky there, it looks about the same as before lol. Expect some higher quality footage in the next review though. Not 4K or anything, but slightly better.

- I didn't do a lot of exposure adjusting with the RAW files. Kind of skimmed them and said "eh, whatever" lol

- My viewfinder also was slightly out of focus when I got still images. Thankfully the auto focus made up for it in most cases, but still there are a few shots that are a little blurry.

- Editing this build section was stupid lol. I ranted for far too long in the beginning and didn’t have nearly the footage of inner frame to cover it. Lesson learned, less ranting or more footage. One or the other.

- Didn't include a lot of references to other kits, kinda forgot, but whatever
