We continue our reflection concept from the last couple years— this is a game show type of debate that allows us to have some fun while reflecting on learning. How did we do?

These 7th grade students discuss stress management in middle school life and reflect on mental health balance in particular.

CONVERSATION QUESTIONS:
Question 1: School Work
Do 7th graders receive enough time to socialize during class, or should teachers plan more informal down time to balance academic rigor?

Question 2: Quiet Time
Are teens still active with friends outside of the school day, or does this generation isolate themselves and spend too much time alone?

Question 3: Unplugging
Do middle schoolers need help with strategies to unplug from screens— media, video games, streaming services?

Question 4: Bonus Question!
Travel vs. Staying Home. Which would be better during time off?
