Blackhawk Ratchet Resto

Welcome to my shop. In this video I'm reviving a dirty old Blackhawk 1/2" ratchet. It was working but sluggish. So I disassembled it, gave it a thorough cleaning, re-oiled it and assembled. Cleaned up the knurling and the rest of the body with some brass brushes and polishing compounds. I love these old Blackhawk tools, this one is vintage but not super old. It will go nicely with my collection of Blackhawk tools. I actually recorded this footage summer of 23'. I'm still out recuperating with some hand surgery I had in Dec 23'. Hopefully I will be getting back into some bigger more challenging projects after I heal. Thanks for watching.
