THSCC Points Autocross #4 - 2015 Ford Fiesta ST @ SNMP 23 June 2024

Onboard from the #58 Ford Fiesta ST running in the H Street class at Tar Heel Sports Car Club's Points Autocross #4 @ Southern National Motorsports Park. This video has me driving solo for most of my runs, with Austin Thompkins riding along for the first. The speedometer reads a little bit high, as my tires are a slightly smaller diameter than stock. Not sure where I bumped my camera mount, but it's definitely tilted more after the first run, and I only noticed after reviewing the footage post-event.

The 2024 THSCC Autocross season continued this June at SNMP with a single Sunday event. There were 2 drivers in H Street this time around (plus 3 novices) and I won the class - though to be fair, the other competitor was in a stock Honda Fit on all-season tires. My 29.416 was good enough for P31 raw and P6(!) PAX out of 90 entries. There was more time in it for sure, but it was extremely hot out and we all only got 4 runs, as we were trying to finish as early in the day as possible. I also had to bleed down the rear pressures between runs, due to the heat and the feeling I was getting a bit too much oversteer in the middle section.
