The Gauteng Health Department has confirmed that it has started to investigate allegations of negligence at the Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg.
Former broadcaster Tom London, who was admitted to the hospital, made the allegations in a video post on social media.
He claims to have experienced neglect and rude behavior from the staff including doctors.
