MEMU Express train starting from Una to Haridwar from March 4 will stop at 25 stations. This train will leave from Una Himachal at 1:50 pm and will reach Haridwar at 9 pm. On the second day, this train will leave from Haridwar for Una at 4:30 in the morning and will reach Una Himachal Railway Station at 12:30. It will stop at almost all the stations of Punjab from Mehatpur Railway Station to Nangal Dam. It will reach Ambala Cantt Junction at 5:37 pm and Saharanpur at 7:20 pm. After that, the train from Saharanpur will leave for Haridwar, in which between Saharanpur and Haridwar, this train will have stoppage only at Roorkee.

The Main line electrical multiple unit (MEMU) with 3 phase onboard Propulsion system, is an existing Indian Railways approved Carbody design that has been adopted, re-engineered and developed by BEML on a contract from Indian Railways. .
The 3 phase Propulsion system is state of the art system consisting of IGBT based microprocessor controlled 3 phase drive with VVVF (Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) control. The train has regenerative braking system for energy saving, and saves around 30% of energy thus reducing the carbon footprint. Energy saving LED lights are also used for illumination in the Coaches.

Una Himachal railway station, code name "UHL", is an important and main station in Una district which is located near Regional Government Hospital on Una–Hamirpur Highway in Una City which is the first broad gauge of Himachal Pradesh.
Saharanpur Junction is the primary railway station serving the city in UttarPradesh. The station is under the administrative control of Ambala railway division of the Northern Railways,and is located at the junction of Moradabad–Ambala line, Delhi–Meerut–Saharanpur line and the Delhi–Shamli–Saharanpur line.

Roorkee Railway Station is in UTTARAKHAND, Northern Railway (MORADABAD DIVISION) .The Station Consists of 3 Platforms but there will be 5 platforms in future.Indian Railways have been working relentlessly to give railway stations a revamped look and to add world-class facilities to give passengers the best travel experience. After Indian Railway redeveloped multiple railway stations like the Gauriganj railway station, and Gujarat’s Chhayapuri railway station, the Railway officials are set to revamp the Roorkee Railway station.The 28 kilometre long rail link between Roorkee and Deoband stations would reduce the distance of Delhi and Roorkee by 33 kilometres and Dehradun to Delhi by 40 kilometres. 

Haridwar railway station (Station code: HW), is one of the major railway stations in Haridwar district, Uttarakhand, India. It falls under the Moradabad division of the Northern Railway zone of the Indian Railways.Haridwar was first connected with railways, via Laksar, through branch line in 1886, when the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway line was extended through Roorkee to Saharanpur Junction, this was later extended to Dehradun in 1906.The station is situated on the Laksar–Dehradun railway line for connecting Delhi, Howrah and rest of India. One of the main railheads of the Northern Railway zone, Haridwar Junction railway station is connected by broad-gauge lines. The station is situated on the NH 58 in the Devpura locality of Haridwar. The nearby station of Rishikesh is connected to Haridwar on a branch line. Towards west, the major railhead is at Saharanpur (76 km) and going north, the major railhead is at Dehradun (52 km).
The city is situated on the right bank of the Ganges river, at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges. Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship. Most significant of the events is the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar. During the Haridwar Kumbh Mela, millions of pilgrims, devotees, and tourists congregate in Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the Ganges to wash away their sins to attain moksha.
