So when I first told my friends that I would be visiting Medellin, they had a few concerns, and if I’m honest, I think I did too.

I’ll be showing you what to see and do in Medellin, along with exploring the chaotic, amazing social reformation district of Comuna 13 – a neighbourhood that strives to prove that change can happen if you want it.

I’ll be covering the costs, must see sights, safety tips as a solo traveller and my honest first impressions. Then you can decide for yourself if Medellin is safe and worth a visit.
