Essential Rum Cocktails: The Daquiri and Mojito

Today I show you how to make one of the most popular rum drinks: the Daquiri and the Mojito, both of which are said to be favorites of the author Ernest Hemingway.

Mojito Ingredients:
Mint
30 ml simple syrup
30 ml lime juice
60 ml Bacardi white
soda water

In a chilled glass, lightly muddle mint and simple syrup together. Add lime juice and Bacardi white. Mix together. Add ice and soda water. Garnish with mint.

Daquiri Ingredients:
60 ml Bacardi gold
30 ml simple syrup
30 ml lime juice

In shaker, mix Bacardi gold, syrup, and lime juice. Shake together with ice and strain onto a chilled coupe glass.
