The Italian WEATHER (Basic Words and Expressions)

Описание к видео The Italian WEATHER (Basic Words and Expressions)

In this Italian lesson, I’ll teach you some essential words and expressions to have a basic conversation about the weather.

This is a summary of what I cover in the video:

- the most common ways to ask "what's the weather like?" in Italian: "Com'è
il tempo?" / "Che tempo fa?"

- how to describe the weather: è bello/brutto (it's nice/bad), c'è il sole / è soleggiato (it's sunny), piove/sta piovendo (it's raining), c'è il vento/tira vento/è ventoso (it's windy), nevica/sta nevicando (it's snowing)

- how Italians talk about the temperature outside: fa caldo/è afoso (it's hot/muggy), fa freddo/fa freschetto/si gela (it's cold/cool/freezing), è secco / è umido (it's dry/humid), quanti gradi ci sono? (how's the temperature outside?)

- 3 popular idioms that we use in relation to the weather: fa un freddo cane, c'è un tempo da lupi, c'è un sole che spacca le pietre!

Watch the lesson to see what they mean!
