Evony: Gathering Techniques

Edit: Cultivate selecting only politics for extra gathering bonus.
1. Find 5 Queen Jin Deoks in Tavern, it is worth the gems (check purple generals after update, there are new generals as good as Lucy, or better, if you can't get QJ

2. Alliance tile - Focus Maximum Speed Boosts for Gathering (Bonus does not work in Alliance tile)
World Tile - Focus Gathering bonus + Speed Bonus (suggested 4 Champion piece set)

3. Monarch and General Gear must be set before March hits the tile for speed buff to apply. However, Champion gear must be on General as she leaves the tile for gathering bonus to apply

Set Bonuses for Gathering
Kings Gear has 3 pieces for each RSS Type, Each Weapon is for different Type
2 Dragon = 15% Gather Speed
2 Champ = 10% Gather Speed
4 Champ = 10% Gather Bonus
