BDO - Succession Valk BA duels #38: bullying an Awakening Warrior

awakening warriors are some of my favorite classes to fight as a succ valk, and not just because we've both been left behind by the meta lol.

8:36 sidestep iframe to dodge grab, don't think i'll be able to pull this off after central servers hit :/
9:36 i grab the warrior in midair out of slashing, ngl that one felt good
10:23 - 10:51 intermission, warrior switches to ap. he also becomes easy to one-combo.
16:25 warrior switches back to dr build but to no avail. he also resists my kd's a lot more here, might've swapped for adamantines or something.
17:57 i sidestep dodge his grab again
19:41 warrior has given up

fighting warrior is a challenging matchup bc of their much stronger mobility kit and a fast grab engage which succ valk struggles against. the only way to approach this matchup is to predict your opponent instead of reacting to them, since you're already grabbed by the time you can react to solare flare. don't waste your dashes trying to keep up with him, but try and outflank him when you think he's gonna solare flare engage. always keep enslar ready to iframe the grab, especially during shield throw. if you know how your opponent plays, you can win.

not sure if this warrior disconnected or just rage quit at the end there lmaoo
