Chordplay - The Chords Of Def Leppard

Описание к видео Chordplay - The Chords Of Def Leppard

Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of Def Leppard. It was three years ago when I created the episode The Chords Of Steve Clark, and since that time I've had a number of requests to feature more of his music/ideas - which is exactly what this lesson contains.

The early years of Def Leppard's music are noticeably different than what you'll hear coming from them these days, as they had a hard-hitting dual guitar attack coming from riff-meisters Pete Willis and the late-great Steve Clark on those early albums. Together, they created a number of interesting/inspiring rock guitar moments, and this lesson reveals a few of their inventive songwriting ideas, chord-based secrets, slick fretboard moves, and more!

The chord-based examples in this episode were pulled from a number of lesser-known and fan favorites from the group - including sections from hard-rockers such as 'Die Hard The Hunter,' 'Rock Rock (Till You Drop),' 'No No No,' 'Mirror Mirror,' 'Action Not Words,' 'Comin' Under Fire,' and more!

There are also a few moments in this episode where the layering between the guitar parts is revealed - and that's the REAL magic of Steve Clark's guitar playing and music. The way he composed/arranged his ideas was truly unique and inspiring, and this area of Def Leppard's early music is worth investigating for ANY guitarist - regardless of style preference or skill level.

Give this episode a view, leave some comments/feedback, and please subscribe to Late Night Lessons - THANK YOU!
~ Rest In Peace Steve Clark ~
