In this episode I review the f-mount Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL II S AI-S lens. I am looking to build out a strong non-Leica kit as all of my Leica M film cameras are now in need of repair and I guess it’s time to revisit Nikon!


For the test Dani and I hit the local parks for a portrait session and shoot a of Lomo 400 and Lomo 800. Spoiler alert: This lens is amazing. After the portrait shoot I go over some of the basic tech specs of the lens and then review a few of my favorites lenses.
