A Peak Back in York 27 07 2024

Years after withdrawal a Peak has finally been restored to main line standard and for it's first public outing on a charter train returned to York, a station it would of passed through many times in the past. The Royal Artillery Man looked magnificent but I think the miss match of stock was a shame, possibly all they could assemble as there was another charter out on this day a well. Also seen are a couple of freight trains that passed through the station
