According to Karl Mannheim :-
"Crime is an anti-social behavior"

According to Gillin and Gillin:-
"Crime is an offence against the Law of the Land"

Causes of Crime:
1. lack of control of the head of family over its members
2. poverty
3. Lack of Education
4. Unemployment
5. Intoxicating and Alcoholic drinks
6. Due to some religious superstitions
7. Defective marriages end

Types of Crime:

2. Violent Crime
3. White-Collar Crime
4. Organized Crime
