എന്നും ഓട്ടൻ‌തുള്ളൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. നർമ്മവും ആക്ഷേപഹാസ്യവും സാമൂഹിക വിശകലനവും എല്ലാം ചേർത്ത് ആകർഷകമായി
രചിച്ച പാട്ടുകൾ ബഹുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ആകർഷകമാം വിധം ചടുല നൃത്തമായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് ഓട്ടൻ‌തുള്ളലിൽ. ലളിത‌മായ
വേഷവും നാടോടി സ്വഭാവമുള്ള അംഗചലനങ്ങളുമാണ് തുള്ളലിന്. മിക്കപ്പോഴും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനു പുറത്താണ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
നിറപ്പകിട്ടാർന്ന വേഷങ്ങൾ അണിഞ്ഞ ഒരു കലാകാരൻ ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് തുള്ളൽ പാട്ടുപാടി നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുകയും അഭിനയിക്കുകയും

Ottam Thullal or Thullal is a traditional Kerala art form of dance and poetry - typically enacted with a lot of interaction with the audience
and with a lot of comic elements This is performance of a poetic creation by Kunjan Nambiar

Ottan Thullal (or Ottamthullal, Malayalam:ഓട്ടൻ തുള്ളൽ) is a dance and poetic performance form of Kerala, India. It was introduced in the eighteenth century by Kunchan Nambiar, one of the Prachina Kavithrayam (three famous Malayalam language poets). It is accompanied by a mridangam (a barrel shaped double headed drum) or an idakka (drum and cymbal).
