64-year-old Wu Gui-lan and her 67-year-old husband, Zhang Xiao-cong, were both raised in Gouzaiwai, Hualien's old red-light district. But despite growing up just streets away in the same neighborhood, it would be many years later before their paths would cross and they would commence a journey together that's contained more than enough drama for one lifetime. In this episode, we discover how a petrifying incident forced the couple to flee Gouzaiwei; what radical technique Mr. Zhang developed to wean kids off dummies; and how the magic of time transformed Gui-lan from chump to champ.
