Smallholders are people who take care of relatively small parts of the land. They know their land as well as you know your home. Unfortunately, smallholders have to make life-altering decisions due to the challenges brought about by climate change. This is where we can make a difference, by empowering smallholders to ensure they maintain land in their stewardship and are resilient in the face of increasing risks. Julia Franchi Scarselli is the Co-founder at Libellula, where she is building a collective of smallholders and using food to inspire a cognitive shift in consumer behavior.
