Complete Spinal Cord Injury at D11-D12 Level Improved In 8 Months Post Cellular Therapy

MRI-MRI Dorsolumbar Spine (21/07/2020), Other: Mild anterior wedging of D12 vertebral body with retropulsion of the vertebra causing obliteration of anterior epidural space and associated long segment intramedullary signal alteration and significant thinning of the spinal cord, appearing hyperintense on T2W / STIR images involving the terminal end of spinal cord and conus medullaris extending from D10-11 to L1-2 level - likely post traumatic etiology with associated intramedullary myelomalacia.

He came to NeuroGen Hospital on 22/11/2020. He was completely wheelchair bound and had very poor trunk control on the day of admission. He underwent cellular therapy and vigorous physiotherapy and occupation therapy for 8 months and stared walking independently with a below knee splint and walker, static and dynamic sitting balance improved, achieved modified independence in ADLs and also got independent in same level, higher and lower level transfers.
