“And his name shall be called Wonderful” (Isaiah 9:6). When I started recording this sermon, I didn’t realize it was basically a Christmas message! I believe this is the first sermon by D. L. Moody that I’ve ever read, but it will probably be the first of many. Moody has a plain style when compared to someone like Charles Spurgeon, but the truth he proclaims is still profound.
