We tend to assume that employees from different generation groups don’t have the same work ethics, expectations, values, goals or aspirations in their work lives but is it really true?

Turns out all these affirmations do not have an explanation coming from the theory behind them. In other words, there isn’t really a satisfactory (or trustworthy?) answer to the questions like “Are people different in generations?” or “Do they experience belonging differently?”

The solution is simple: treat others as to how you want to be treated, start with asking their views! After all, we all want to be seen, heard, valued and recognized for our contribution...
