When your RUNNING CADENCE is too HIGH (and is making you SLOW)

Описание к видео When your RUNNING CADENCE is too HIGH (and is making you SLOW)

What happens when your running cadence is too high? For most runners, part of improving your running technique is to increase your running cadence. However, there are also many runners who naturally run with very short, quick running strides; a very high running cadence.

If your easy paced technique has you running with a cadence of approximately 190 steps per minute and above, you might want to look at finding a more even balance between your stride frequency (cadence) and your stride length. In my experience doing so is like finding a new set of gears on the bike. All of a sudden a new world of speed is opened up for you!
