Running is inherently repetitive, meaning you uses the same muscle groups in the same motion and direction over and over.

A good approach to blending running and strength training means more than just lifting weights and running.

It means strategically working opposing muscle groups, and deliberately counteracting the 1,000s of repetitive steps and strides you take when you run. This helps prevent injuries, because the goal isn’t just to be “strong” it’s to be a strong & resistant as a runner.

We start new blocks of the Lift/Run and the Performance aesthetics programs tomorrow. Lift/Run starts a 7 week block and PFA starts a 4 week block.
