Apologies for the delay on this one - things are officially getting a little busier since our little Super Citizen popped out on Saturday (:D), so there might be a bit of a break in uploads. Got a few more in the upload backlog in the meantime though!

For this one I was trying out the buffed Punisher Plasma after some of you recommended it in the comments, and boy does it deliver. With a generous AoE, good damage and most importantly enough stagger to lock down a group of Devastators, this weapon is now an exceptional Automaton killer, its only negative being the projectile arc which requires a little skill to master.

Build:

This build was what I whipped up to try out the Plasma Punisher, but I'd probably tweak it somewhat having done the run. The PP handles pretty much every threat smaller than a Hulk - that I'm leaving to my Railgun. Didn't get the chance to try out the PP vs Gunships but the arc might make landing shots a little awkward - an AT support weapon like the Quasar or Spear would cover that and take out hard targets like Fabricators, Tanks and Hulks while letting the PP handle everything else. For this run, I'm relying on my 500kg, Railcannon Strike and Orbital Precision Strike to deal with the heavies.

For now, I've taken the grenade pistol for Fabs, and stun nades for emergency CC. If taking the AT route, you could take a non-AoE sidearm instead, which might have avoided the uh, unfortunate physics I ran into here.

Heavy armour with explosion resistance keeps me pretty tanky without resorting to any shield use.
