The South African Police Service has warned the public not to use coal-fuelled braziers also known as "imbawula" indoors. The braziers emit carbon monoxide which can be fatal to people indoors. Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include constant headaches, dizziness and nausea. This can lead to unconsciousness or death.
