“A Carmichael Concert” (THE COMPLETE ALBUM) features Ralph Carmichael’s orchestra with a dozen wonderful Gospel songs. Despite what the title may imply, this is NOT a live concert album. Three of the tunes feature the harmonica artistry (uncredited) of the great Tommy Morgan. This 1961 LP was released by Word Records and re-issued with a new cover by Word in 1977. The titles are: “Jesus Name I Love,” “In the Garden,” “This I Know,” “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone?” (with harmonica), “Amazing Grace,” “’Tis So Sweet,” “Ivory Palaces,” “Unworthy,” “What a Friend,” “Wonderful Peace” (with harmonica), “Some Golden Daybreak” and “Sweet Hour of Prayer” (with harmonica).
