今回もご視聴誠にありがとうございます。
B級チョッパープロジェクト。進めていきたいと思います。

「B級とは、その物が上等でも下等でもない。
中程度のレベルにあることを指し示す。」
っと、ネットでは出てきました。

だからと言って、可もなく不可もなしというわけではなく、B級という
もはやスタイルとして成立していると考えます。

高級な部品を取り付けて制作されたゴージャスなバイクではなく、
中古パーツなどを利用してラフに組み上げられたガレージビルド的なバイク。だけどなんかすごくかっこいい！ラットスタイルとも通じるポイントが多いですね。

それらの点を、当店なりに解釈して制作中なのが、今回のプロジェクトです。
ある程度、年代の雰囲気に沿って制作していますが、あえての「はずし」を所々にちりばめ、
良い意味で、ショーバイクのようにキッチリと制作していないところがポイント。

ラフなスタイルだからと言って、決して手を抜いているわけではありません。
フレームはしっかりと専用ジグに載せて、リヤフレームを制作。しっかり寸法も出ています。
ブレーキは前後ドラムですが、現代の交通事情でも問題なく安全に効くようしっかりと対策済みです。

エンジン、ミッションもオーバーホール済み。電装関係は全て新品。
とにかく安全に楽しく走行するためにかける整備代は惜しみません。

Class B chopper project. We would like to proceed.

'Class B means that the thing is neither advanced nor low grade.
It refers to something being at a medium level."
I've been able to find it on the internet.

That does not mean that it is neither possible nor impossible. We think it is established as a style of [B-grade chopper].

It's not a gorgeous bike with high-end parts installed.
It's more like a garage-built bike, roughly assembled from used parts. But it's really cool! It has many points in common with the rat style.

This project is our interpretation of those points.
To a certain extent, we're following the atmosphere of the era, but we're daringly sprinkling a 'not that' feel here and there.
In a good sense, the key point is that it is not produced as neatly as a show bike.

The rough style does not mean that we have cut corners.
The frame is securely mounted on a special jig and the rear frame is produced. It is also well dimensioned.
Brakes are drums front and rear, but they have been carefully designed to work safely and without problems in modern traffic conditions.

Engine and transmission have been overhauled. All electrical components are new.
We will spare no expense in maintenance to ensure safe and enjoyable driving.

We'll be finishing this one off too!
