Alright it was about time I visit East Asia, or Japan to be exact. Japan has a lot of amazing tales to offer — both in its mythology and in its history. I figured I'd start with the mythology, since the main family kind of has some drama going on that rivals the Kardashians. Some of the names probably mean something to you if you watch anime, like Susanoo, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi or Izanami, but those names are about to take on a whole new meaning.

Notes:
For now this will be my only video on Japanese Mythology, as I'm not planning to do a whole series. I do encourage you to watch/read more on it though, because it is absolutely fascinating — from the many, many Yokai to the entirety of the beauty that is Shinto... you won't be bored. Even just writing this, it makes me wanna dive in deeper haha

Support:
I hope you like the new art style, inspired by ancient Japanese art. The style will stay with us for the upcoming videos on Yasuke, Miyamoto Musashi and Oda Nobunaga. If you want all my artwork, you can get it on my Patreon, where you can also download all my videos to download and keep in high quality, and you get over 30 exclusive videos, as well as hundreds of videos that I uploaded on other platforms in the past:

Scenes:
The anime in the beginning is called 『劇場版 モノノ怪』公式, which more easily translates to anime/movie mononoke and goes by the same handle on its social media.
The Jamie Foxx part is from the movie Power, the Kevin Hart interview is his show on Peacock and the Ryan Gosling scene is from Barbie.

Music by Epidemic Sound.
