由潘耀田记谱，和当年很流行的《花开争艳》曲风相近，也都出自于邓桂生笔下，但中等速度4/4拍的《故乡行》旋律起伏转折比较多，更为引人入胜。

Notated by Phoon Yew Tien, it is similar in style to the popular "Blossoms" at that time, both composed by Deng Guisheng. However, the 4/4 beat medium speed melody of "Hometown trip" has more ups and downs and turns, which proves more fascinating.
