Ujjain Vlog 01 महाकालेश्वर मंदिर | महाकाल कॉरिडोर | विक्रम टीला | राम घाट | विक्रमादित्य वैदिक घड़ी

In this vlog you are going to see one of oldest cities of world Ujjain which was known as Avantikapuri in ancient times. Ujjain is famous as city of Mahakal because here is the third jyotirling of 12 holy jyotirlings, Mahakaleshwar also called as Baba Mahakaal by the devotees.

My Ujjain vlog series starts at Ram Ghat, one of most important places of Ujjain city. This is the places where kumbh bath is being held during Sinhasth Kumbh Mela. Here you can see many ancient temples. People first take a dip in holy Shipra river and then pay visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple and other prominent temples and religious places.

After visiting Ram Ghat when I was going towards Mahakaleshwar Temple I saw newly established Vikramaditya Vedic Clock near Jantar Mantar observatory of ujjain city. Then I reached at Mahakaal crossroads and moved towards the Mahakaleshwar Temple. Before entering the Mahakaleshwar Temple compound I visited two Ganesh temples, first was Nagdhari Ganesh Mandir and other one was Bada Ganesh Mandir.

After this I entered in Mahakaleshwar Temple and moved in a queue for 10-15 minutes and finally reached in front of garbhgrah where Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling is situated. Felt blessed after darshan of Baba Mahakaal. As I came out from Garbhgrah I saw many small temples in temple compound and did darshan in each and every temple one by one.

Then I reached at Vikram Teela that is situated between Mahakeleshwar Temple and Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth. There was a huge statue of famous king Vikramaditya sitting on a throne known as "Singhasan Battisi". This is the place where remains of real Singhasan Battisi were found. Statues of famous "Nav Ratn" of king Vikramaditya are also established at Vikram Teela. Panaromic view of Rudra sagar and Mahaleshwar temple and Mahakal corridor from here is mesmerizing.

Now it was time to visit Mahakaal corridor. It was evening time by then so weather was cool. I don't want to write more about Mahakal corridor as my words can't do justice to its beauty. Better you see it through this vlog.
