In the fifth chapter, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Rabbit and all the other Forest animals begin to wonder why Christopher Robin never seems to be around in the morning anymore. They make several attempts to get to the bottom of it but eventually, they begin to realise that Christopher Robin must also have another existence outside of his ‘special’ world with, Winnie-the-Pooh and the other animals. We know that the real reason, of course, is that he is now starting to grow up and has to go off to school during the day.
