Street Fighter 2: World Warrior [Arcade] New Boss version - Vega

Описание к видео Street Fighter 2: World Warrior [Arcade] New Boss version - Vega

This is an updated version of the Street Fighter 2 World Warrior Boss version which allows the player to select and control the 4 bosses (Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M.Bison). Read on...

In this version, all 4 bosses are virtually perfect to their CPU versions and play flawlessly.

In this video, I've casually played through the game with Vega (claw). Obviously being a boss character, most of his Light and Medium basic moves are heavy hits.

Here are some additional information on SF2WW Vega:

---- Interestingly, we now learn that SF2WW Vega's Fence Climb & Suplex is actually a completely separate move, rather than the 2-in-1 move like in SF2:CE and beyond.

---- He can actually jump off the side walls, this is something not even the SNES SF2WW boss version had.

---- Ever wondered why SF2WW Vega NEVER has a standing block, as is the case in the SNES Boss version, Capcom SF2:WW collections on PSX, Saturn, PS2, etc.? Well this is why - you see, SF2WW Vega's standing 'block' is in fact his back-flip. So when the CPU uses it it simply 'presses' Back to 'block' which will activate his backflip. I knew this was the case ever since I started messing around with the SNES version.

---- Despite having the backflip, it is still not identical to the CPU Vega, because it requires the opponent's moves to 'contact' to activate his backflip.

---- We now get to properly see what his crouching LP, MP and HP basics are like. The CPU Vega rarely uses this move.

---- He has an air throw and it is fully functional. Personally I've never seen the CPU Vega use this move out of all the times I've fought against him, but I have a good source who suggests that the CPU Vega has indeed used this move.

---- During his background/wall climbs, he often disappears when he climbs. This is probably due to the horizontal scrolling plane on different backgrounds not matching the fence plane on his Spain stage.

---- He is fully functional in the Continue screen, complete with a yelling voice sound effect when you press Start.

---- He only has the one colour palette we see in the video.

---- His portrait on the character select seems to be positioned in exactly the same coordinates as his one in SF2CE/HF.
