DISA History Minute: The War on Drugs

The War on Drugs began in June 1971 when President Richard Nixon signed an executive order that reshaped American society and incorporated drug enforcement into the United States Department of Defense mission.

We were at the forefront of the initiative and made significant inroads in stopping illegal drug trafficking that are still in force today.

About DISA
