One of the best shows that I've seen live is the Deftones (and I've seen then numerous times). People tend to attach memories and emotions to music. For me, when you hear that song, it reminds me of "that summer" when life had zero worries and and all you cared about was the temperature of your beer. To me, this song and album, above all, skirted the obvious response to the tragedy and death of bassist Chi Cheng, realizing that a chosen turn was a more rewarding journey. One of my fav albums and tracks. RIP Chi!
I seriously cannot thank you all enough for your support with this channel. Being allowed to connect with people ALL over the world is an extremely humbling and satisfying experience. Mostly, I hope each and every one of you are safe and healthy during these times and I really hope each of you had an amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones. YOU ALL ROCK!
