This piece by an unknown composer is part of a collection of pieces called the "Sones mo órgano", which was found in manuscript form in San Rafael, Misiones Jesuíticas de Chiquitos, Bolivia and dates to around 1746. The pieces appear to have been complied as a result of the efforts of the missionary Martin Schmid, S.J. (1694 – 1772) from various sources, including works by Domenico Zipoli. Most of the pieces are anonymous. The transcriptions were made by Lic. Miguel P. Juárez.

Played on the sample set for an organ saved by Francis Chapelet from a ruinous church in Castilia, Spain. The organ dates to 1736. Gerhard Grenzing restored the instrument in 1978 and enlarged it to allow for a wider repertoire. The organ has two manuals with a chromatic compass, and a full pedal of 30 keys.

Sample set by Sonus Paradisi.
