Actually, it is the case of 13 November 1989, when due to an accident in a coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, water started leaking and 65 workers were trapped in it. When Jaswant Singh Gill, the engineer of Coal India Limited, came to know about this, he immediately started the rescue operation. He made a capsule to save the workers, sitting in it, he reached the mine alone and after one One started taking out the trapped laborers, and at last Jaswant Singh himself came out of the mine. As easy as it sounds, it was not that easy! And that is why for this courageous act of Jaswant Singh ji, he was awarded the 'Best Life Saver Medal' by President Ramaswami Venkataraman. And now his work has been filmed in Bollywood's "Mission Raniganj" movie!
