Text: Genesis 3:14-15, 1 Samuel

Point 1) A Promised Curse (Genesis 3:14-15
-Humiliated
-Hostility
-Deceived
-Decapitated

Point 2) Heads Begin To Roll (1 Samuel)
-Fake Religion seems to triumph (1 Samuel 4-6)
-Fake Hero seems to defy and mock God (1 Samuel 17)
-Fake Leader seems to stand in the way of God’s Promised Genesis 3:15 Rescuer (1 Samuel 8-22)
-These fakes seem Satanic. It seems Satan is winning
-God gives a sign that His Promised Rescuer is Coming

Point 3) Jesus Put His Foot Down
-It seemed like Satan was winning in Jesus’ arrest, mocking, beatings, and crucifixion
-Yet, Satan played a part in his own destruction and then our salvation from sin
-Jesus put His foot down on Slithery Satan and won us the victory that “nothing can slither or separate us from God’s loving power”
