Simon Fraser University's Open Science Buy-In Project is assessing the needs, challenges and benefits of implementing open science at the university. This townhall was one in a series that introduced the project to the SFU community and sought feedback on the draft Open Science Principles.

The townhall was chaired by Dr. Randy McIntosh, Chair of the Open Science Working Group and Director of the Institute for Neuroscience at SFU. The draft principles were presented by Dr. Nilay Yalçin, Member of the Open Science Principles Drafting Committee and Assistant Professor in the School of Interactive Arts & Technology.
