PILATES REFORMER FRONT SPLITS:

LEVEL - Intermediate
SETUP - 2 Springs, Footbar Up, Pads on Carriage, Headpiece Up
REPETITIONS - 3 - 5x each leg

GOALS & BENEFITS
Stretches both legs, especially hip flexor & thighs of back leg
Challenges balance and alignment
Strengthens the legs and seat

TIPS & CUES
Emphasize moving carriage from back leg
Back leg is pressed firmly straight, foot turned out slightly against shoulder block
Pelvis remains level without moving up and down
