Panasonic DMR-EX769 Please Wait Error Power Supply Repair - Lied to at the Car Boot Sale Again

I got this Panasonics DMR-EX769 DVD Recorder at the car boot sale for £4 and was told by the seller that it was all working fine. When I went to test it the Please Wait message stayed on the screen for ages and then when I tried to turn it on it kept going back to Please Wait.
This is how to repair a DMR-EX769 power supply and replaced visually bad capacitors.
The method I used in this one was slightly different as I didn't have the correct capacitors to hand. I had to use 2 capacitors in parallel to make up the capacitance needed, which is a perfectly acceptable way of fixing this and in some ways better as it lowers the ESR of the circuit.
